Important reminders for participants of Show #1 next Saturday:
- Spiel Sheet info must be updated in CompetitionSuite. Once you log in to competitionsuite, select your group, go to organization data in the top menu, select “San Joaquin Valley Color Guard & Percussion Review Data,” and edit your spiel sheet information. The entries here will be used by our gym announcers when announcing your show.
- Performance Music must be uploaded by Thursday 1/25 at 6pm. If you have not done this yet, you can click on "Performance Music" in the top menu, and upload your files. Soundcheck will be available during check in at the event on Saturday.
- Group admins - update your staff members within the "People" menu of competitionsuite. This will ensure they have access to scoring and commentary at the conclusion of the first competition.

If you already have an account with CompetitionSuite, you can use your existing account to manage your registration (even if you use it with another circuit such as WGI).
Registration will be available by registering as a member ensemble beginning Friday 10/20 at 9am. If you attempt this prior to 9am you will not have the option to register for events. Please access the membership portal by clicking here after 9am on Friday 10/20.

Show #1 will follow these guidelines listed below. All participants including performers will be required to wear a mask while in the performance gym at all times.
CDPH/COVID GUIDELINES: UPDATE AS OF 1/19/2022
In consultation with our administration and in line with county guidance, we will plan to keep this event under the 500 person “mega-event” threshold. As a result, we will not be enforcing a testing/vaccination verification requirement at show #1.
Masking Requirements: Per current requirements, masks are required from ALL individuals in all indoor public settings, regardless of vaccination status until further notice. This includes performers, spectators, instructors, directors, volunteers, and staff members.
Covid-19 Participation Protocols: Only those that are healthy and symptom-free should attend SJVCGPR events throughout the season.
- If you, a member of staff, a performer, or a parent affiliated with your ensemble is experiencing any COVID-19 related symptoms or has recently tested positive for COVID-19, they should not attend an event without first obtaining a negative test result or completing the full isolation period per CDC guidelines.
- We recommend establishing a contingency plan for how your ensemble will continue to participate in the event should one or more performers need to miss a performance.
- We also recommend establishing a backup plan should you or another key staff member are unable to attend a SJVCGPR event, so that your ensemble will still be able to perform.
Here is the registration process:
Make sure you have an account set up with Competition Suite (you can take care of this right now). If you do not have an active Competition Suite account set one up by visiting https://competitionsuite.com/ and click on the Sign Up button. You will need an active Competition Suite account to register.
Follow this link - Register Here and register as a new ensemble – (If you have a current winter percussion or color guard ensemble in competition suite you may see these old entries but it will be easiest to create a new ensemble for scheduling and data collection purposes). All previous SJVCGPR ensemble information will be invalid/cleared.
You will need to register as a member ensemble. There will be no charge for membership. It will enable registering for multiple shows to be an easier transaction.
Complete all required information
Start a new ensemble for each group entry, ie. Scholastic A color guard, Scholastic A percussion, exhibition color guard etc…
Then you will be able to register for upcoming events.
The deadline for registration will be two weeks prior to the first show. Schedules for show number 1 will be posted or emailed out as close to the end of the registration period as possible.
